Learning Log 12/19

Today in the "Crucible" I discovered how ignorent the court members in Salem were. Mr. Danforth was stupid to believe that all of the people acused of witchcraft were practicing witchcraft. This shows how stupid we were back then for judging people for what they believe in. In the current world people today still judge people for what they believe in, however we are strict about not punishing them for what they believe in. Author Miller maybe wrote this play to inform the audience not to judge people because it may not be what you think it is. The author may have also wanted to show the audience the dangers of judging people. If we judge people whats going to stop us from being just as barbaric as the court members in Salem.
