Learning log 12/15

Today in the, "Crucible", John proctor tries to convince everyone that Abigale is a fraud. Trying to make her look bad he says she is a "whore". Judge Danforth then does not believe John and asks if he has any proof. John then admits to having an affair with Abigale, and says that he would not ruin his good name; so he must be telling the truth. In real life this same scenario happens, people are forced to share secret that hurt them in order for the right thing to happen. These types of people are viewed positively because others feel that they can trust them. These people are known to be honest people because they are able to reveal there personal lives in order to prevent bad things from happening; this is a sign that they will tell the truth whenever they feel it to be necessary.
